Circa 1799 Barn Shoot on Style Me Pretty

Yummy photo shoot, huh? i was so lucky to be a part of it and spend the day in this amazing barn! for all the nitty gritty details, credits, and lots more photos by Trent Bailey, visit Style Me Pretty.

Royal Wedding Invitation : Love ♥ Jenna Style

so, have you heard? most of the Royal Wedding Invitations went out by fax....GASP! in a professional calligrapher's opinion, that's just plain unacceptable. well, this is what Kate and Will would've sent out had they hired me: metallic silver ink on luscious Royal Blue paper (to match the famous ring,
of course) and tied into an old-fashioned scroll with silver ribbon, topped with a diamond encrusted crown.

you may be wondering why i'd even bother to create their fictitious invite. for all of you Stephen Colbert fans, you may remember he put out a call for entries for an invitation to the Royal Nuptials a few months ago. my witty, copywriter husband and i took his request very seriously. he wrote the copy and i "wrote" the invite. i even hand delivered it to the Colbert Report's post office box in new york city. we're a little sad it never aired, but happy to share it with you in time for the big day!

♥  one of my favorite details  ♥

Favorite springtime flowers

hot pink hearts, basically. need i say more?

Fresh Palette featured in Martha Stewart Weddings

Here's what Martha has to say: "a brisk, grassy color is one of the most invigorating in the spectrum. Pair it with pure white to breath life into any event–from an intimate outdoor garden party to a buttoned-up black-tie affair." i couldn't agree more. here's their brilliant idea: rubber stamping my calligraphy elements onto clear plastic sleeves as a dressed up overlay.
Another super fun idea from the experts at Martha: lollipop numbers escort guests to their tables and can double as dessert later. i'm in love with these!

Sentimental Wedding in Ireland

Did you notice the couple's names? even though Juan's father is from Spain, Kelly's parents, plus the groom's mother are all from Ireland. the country is their special place they both spent time growing up in so why not also get married there? i was happy to add a little metallic gold magic to their invitations to an incredible wedding at The Carton House. and even luckier was the photographer who captured the day, Farnaz K Studio. Invitation design by Smock Paper.

Fab Collab with Swiss Cottage Designs

block letters get married to fancy calligraphy...a match made in heaven! courtney and i have this fun watercolor style going on. and, as you can see we like to add a little bit more personality in the envelope liners. featured in the top invite is the bride's grandmother's watercolor...isn't that so sweet?

A Sweet Little Logo

for a the sweetest Australian photographer, Luisa. her heart went pitter patter when she saw this logo, and her photographs put a big smile on my face, so we were basically destined to collaborate. she put together such a nice presentation of her new branding that is sure to inspire you. and if you're ever down under, you might consider getting in touch with this talented lady!

Spanish Modern Shoot

a sophisticated inspirational shoot in collaboration with many talented new yorkers. i'm especially

i'm kinda loving writing on a diagonal lately. and on a side note: Scott Clark and i have been spending lots of time photographing my calligraphy for my brand shiny new website. consider this photo a sneak peak. dear friends of mine from Hi Design are the masterminds designing it as we speak, and it's going to pretty cute!
